HL7 provides the messaging standards for exchanging clinical and administrative data in healthcare. HL7 v2.x is used by more than 95% of healthcare entities all over the world and as such, any healthcare organization or software company developing healthcare applications must have a solid knowledge in HL7 and interoperability.
In this seminar, Dr. Mike Muin will explore the world of healthcare interoperability and standards. He will discuss the different types of interoperability, give an overview of the use of standards in healthcare and provide a basic technical introduction on HL7 v2.x. He'll also share case studies, real-world implementation experiences, and specific integration challenges and scenarios in this workshop.
